Webinar to launch the “HEalth Research MEntorship in Low and Middle-Income CountrieS” (HERMES): TDR Global practical guide to institutionalize research mentorship
This initiative from TDR looks like it may include guidance on research communication in the context of research mentorship. It will be interesting to see how this institutionalised approach complements initiatives such as The Global Health Network and AuthorAid.

Join us for a talk on institutionalizing health research mentorship in low and middle-income (LMIC) countries, where we’ll launch a TDR Global practical guide to enhance research mentorship.
TDR Global’s practical guide on research mentorship is invaluable to researchers in LMIC settings who wish to create a nurturing environment in their institutions.
Existing resources focus on mentee/mentors, but do not acknowledge the institutional processes that are important for nurturing research over time. The “HEalth Research MEntorship in Low and Middle-Income CountrieS” (HERMES) TDR Global practical guide provides tips, strategies, and open access materials to support the institutionalization of research mentorship.
This launch event is part of a series of dissemination activities between World Teacher Day (5 October) and World Student Day (15 October).
