Call for evidence survey: Domestic violence and abuse outcome measurement tools. The team from the NIHR Children and Families Policy Research Unit (CPRU) have developed a core outcome set for family-focused interventions in the domestic violence and abuse (DVA) sector. This is a small set of outcomes that can be used as a minimum measurement standard by everyone interested in assessing the impact of services and interventions. You or your organisation may have been involved in this initial piece of work, details of the research can be found at: www.ucl.ac.uk/children-policy-research

The Home Office has now funded Dr Claire Powell the researcher on this CPRU project to investigate the tools and frameworks used by the DVA sector to measure these outcomes.

We invite you to complete this call for evidence survey so we can understand the tools (frameworks, strategies, questionnaires, software programmes etc.) currently used to measure DVA outcomes in practice. The information that you share will be used to guide the findings from a rapid review to identify what measurement tools are used and are acceptable (in terms of their feasibility/reliability/robustness/effectiveness/economic cost) across service sectors supporting individuals and families affected by DVA. We are interested in hearing about measurement tools used in practice with families experiencing DVA, in any country, not just the UK.

Please could you complete the free text questions below to the best of your knowledge. Only one member of an organisation needs to take part. There are six questions, and these will take around 10 minutes to complete.

Should you have any difficulties accessing or completing the survey please do not hesitate to contact Sigrun Clark at sigrun.clark.20@ucl.ac.uk
