Dear Miracle,
I notice on the webpage
https://bettaopen.com/journals/healthequity/about/for-authors
- in a table:
Time to First Decision - 14 days Acceptance Rate - $990 [*see note below]
On a general point - $990 is well beyond my means as a semi-retired, and (essentially) independent scholar.
In many nations, there are now of course (and increasingly) a great many retirees (Hifa too) with significant knowledge and experience. I wonder if journals will work out a way to facilitate 'knowledge acquisition' of a non-artificial kind?
A contribution to public mental health too.
