Access to reliable healthcare information is (or should be) a human right: Do you agree or disagree?

3 June, 2023

Dear HIFA colleagues,

A working group of HIFA, WHO, Lancet and BMJ representatives is currently preparing a global survey for launch in July 2023. More here: https://www.hifa.org/projects/hifa-who-global-consultation-2023

The survey has 20 questions and I would like to offer one of these for discussion here on HIFA:

"Access to reliable healthcare information is (or should be) a human right: Do you agree or disagree?"

I have been discussing this question with fellow HIFA steering group members Chris Zielinski and Geoff Royston. The issue is not clear-cut.
