Hi
We have just launched an open letter calling on the Minister for AI to lead the development of a UK-wide framework for safe AI-generated health information.
115 leading UK health charities and organisations have signed the open letter sharing concerns over potential misinformation in AI-generated health information.
We would love your help to raise awareness of our Safer Health AI campaign. You can find some suggested copy for social posts and a brief explanation for your relevant newsletters in this Dropbox folder. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/g8hxchuutab5rr70u8bfx/ADt1iE0QS10gnaQrae6...
We have also attached a press release with all the information. [*see note below]
Please share with your audiences to help build support for the call to ensure people are directed to trusted, evidence-based sources when seeking health advice online or using large language models (LLMs).
Thanks
Sheena
