Survey: how have international funding cuts affected your work? (closes 31 October)

27 October, 2026

Dear HIFA colleagues,

Many of us can name a grant that ended early, a study that paused, a post that went or a service that was reduced after the recent cuts to international research and development funding. Very few of those accounts are being written down.

I am collecting them through a short survey for the Global Health Funding Digest, a weekly research-funding newsletter for researchers in low- and middle-income countries. It takes about two minutes, only the first question is required, and nothing is published with anyone’s name unless they say it may be. Results are used only in aggregate.

The survey closes on Saturday 31 October: https://forms.gle/ytaEkBubtRZ21Mdp9

If cuts have touched your work, your team or your patients, I would be grateful for your account, and for you passing it to one colleague who has been affected.

With thanks,
