Emily Suzuki is a medical doctor and attorney currently serving as a Technical Officer at the World Health Organization. She provides country-level support for cervical cancer elimination, with a focus on scaling up screening and treatment programmes. Her work includes technical assistance on programme design, procurement, and implementation across diverse health system settings. Before joining WHO, she worked at Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, where she led litigation related to vaccination and contributed to evidence-based immunization policies. She is highly motivated to advance public health through effective health policy and programme implementation.
