Development of child mental health services in LMICs

12 March, 2026

Dear all,

I've been approached by a colleague who is working on mental health and climate change with the following request:

"In recent months I have been connecting with a group in Pakistan around mental health and climate change. They also have wider concerns to develop better mental health provision overall in Pakistan.

Is there anyone in ISSOP who has been working with Low and Middle Income countries to help develop their child and young people mental health services?"

I'm making enquiries through the ISSOP EC but would also welcome information from CHIFA members of suitable contacts for my colleague to approach.

Many thanks,

Nick Spencer
