Seeking West African Partners — Real-Time NCD Surveillance Infrastructure

7 March, 2026

Dear HIFA Community,

We are building Africa's first facility-level, real-time NCD surveillance infrastructure and specifically seek non-profit and research organisations operating in West Africa to partner with us.

- The Problem: Health officials across Africa operate with 3–5 year old, nationally aggregated NCD data, which prevents them from identifying local hotspots or tracking interventions in real time.

- Our Approach: A lightweight, offline-first EHR system deployed across primary healthcare facilities that simultaneously improves clinical NCD care and generates real-time surveillance data that has never existed at this scale.

We are looking for organisations that:

- Have established relationships with Ministries of Health and primary healthcare facilities

- Conduct NCD research or programmes in West Africa

- Can support facility recruitment, community engagement, or local implementation

We offer co-investigator and co-authorship roles, as well as access to technical infrastructure that benefits your existing programmes.

Interested? Please reply with your organisation name, country of operation, a brief description of your NCD work (2–3 sentences), and your area of partnership interest.

We will schedule exploratory calls over the next 6–8 weeks.

Best regards,
