Can community health workers identify umbilical cord infection? (5)

6 August, 2018

Dear Sunanda and all,

"There are limitations to what community health workers can do; however, identifying umbilical cord infections should not be one. The CHWs generally are good at identification based on naked eye observations as several of our key infant training show... Was the training procedure itself standardised and uniform?"

I think you make a very good point. I have invited the authors to join us and comment.
