Taliban denies killing three female Afghan polio workers (2)

3 April, 2021

Whenever this tragic news is released about the murder of innocent health workers, going about to care for their patients or go about preventing ill health like polio by immunisation, we actually shed a tear for the victim and for those of their loved ones left behind. The same happened this time too.

May their souls rest in peace. Amen.

It surely behoves the Government of every country to prioritise the safety of its health workers. The alternative is this recurrent tragedies.
