The Olympic Games and COVID-19 (2)

Personally, I like how the Olympics have shifted the world's attention from the pandemic and given everyone hope that human bodies are also intelligent enough to repel/fight the pandemic rather than surrender our lives to medical science all the time. Who knows, sport could emerge as one of the key avenue for healing and weakening tuture pandemics. I am sure even during previous wars, sports were used to provide an alternative to sadness.
