Introduction: Richard Stephens, UK: Digital products for Community Health Workers

26 March, 2021

Hi Everyone,

I would like to introduce myself. I am software developer, designer and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in product development, web and mobile apps. My passion lies in building new products and bringing new concepts to life. I have helped a number of companies, from multinationals and NGOs to start-ups, launch new products. I ran my own agency for 10 years before selling that and going freelance as a consultant.

I have been working in the field of digital health literacy for 2 years now and have helped design and build several digital products for Community Health Workers and more recently a platform to provide better education for young people at higher risk of contracting HIV in Southern Africa.

I have put together a case study of recent work that I have done:

I am excited to have joined HIFA and I am looking forward to speaking with members to learn more about your experiences with digital health and the challenges you might be facing.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss my work or if you have any questions.
