It is interesting that you were able to communicate with people in Nigeria via 'traditional networks' who would not have been reached by 'modern networks'. The other issue is that, in order to be prepared to act on information received, it needs to reach people via networks they trust and understand. Accessing such networks in the conflict zones of DRC for the purpose of disseminating ebola information appears to be a great problem.
