Webinar recordings for evidence for global and disaster health

5 December, 2018

Dear All,

In November 2018, we took part in two webinars:

On the 15th November, I took part in a webinar for the National Library for Medicine Disaster Information Resource Management Centre about the role of libraries in supporting teams working in disaster zones. First Ben Heaven Taylor spoke about the marvellous work of Evidence Aid, and then I talked about the project we ran with Healthcare Information For All and Evidence Aid ( http://www.hifa.org/projects/library-and-information-services).

The webinar recording and slides are available here:

On the 19th November, Isla Kuhn, Emma Farrow, and myself presented a webinar, summarising 6 key resources for Finding the Evidence for Global and Disaster Health. This was a summary of the workshop that we ran in Kuala Lumpur as part of the IFLA Evidence for Global and Disaster Health Special Interest Group.

The webinar recording and slides are available here:

Finally, Phil Segall, Librarian at the Royal College of Nursing has published a lovely write-up of our satellite meeting in Kuala Lumpur. “Librarianship in the eye of the storm” is available here:

If you have any questions about this work, please do get in touch.

With best wishes, from,
