Is there a role for trado-medicine in the Nigerian health sector? (25) Traditional medicine for care of the umbilicus

Dear Neil,

Yes, I think we know that this specific traditional practice of using dung or faeces is harmful. I was referring to the information on the geographical spread and popularity of this practice and the actual damage done (eg infection, hospitalisation). Would be great if we could have more quantitative understanding on this matter.
