Nottingham Trent University Public Health Conference 2018

Dear HIFA Members,

In celebration of 10 successful years of Nottingham Trent University (NTU) MA Public Health, we are hosting the first NTU Public Health Conference. The conference theme will be ‘Reverse knowledge innovation in global health and development’, and will explore the potential value of reversing traditional thinking about knowledge transfer and innovation in global health and development.

Call for abstract submission:

We welcome abstract submission for oral and/or poster presentation around the following streams:

Role of social science in global health and development

Partnership models

Emerging knowledge/perspectives in global health and development

Traditional knowledge(s) and practice(s)

Knowledge translation to practice

The deadline for submission is midnight on Sunday 22 July 2018.

Further information on the call for abstracts and guidelines on how they will be reviewed and scored are available on the conference website. We will contact you with our decision by Friday 17 August 2018.

Alumni Bursaries

A number of bursaries covering the conference fees will be available to Nottingham Trent University MA Public Health Alumni. In order to qualify for a bursary, we invite you to submit abstracts for an oral presentation and / or a poster presentation. Further information along with terms and conditions for the bursary are available on the conference website.

There will be an accelerated decision on abstract submission from overseas’ presenters who may need visa to attend the conference.
