Introduction and Invitation to event on 23rd November in Lusaka

8 November, 2018

Dear HIFA-Zambia

I'm excited to join the group. As an introduction, I'm Head of Evaluation and Research at Medical Aid Films - a couple of former colleagues have been members of this group. Our free film content focuses on health education and training for communities and health professionals and we have some films in Bemba - click here [https://www.medicalaidfilms.org/] to access films and for more information about our work.

I would like to let you all know about a forthcoming event in Lusaka on Friday 23rd November, entitled 'Can film encourage male involvement and achieve health promotion goals?' which is being organised by the University of Zambia and Medical Aid Films.

This is a half-day workshop for maternal and child health and health promotion professionals and community health organisations to discuss findings from a rural health films research project and explore implications for men’s engagement interventions and wider health promotion policy.

It will be held at the UNZA Graduate School of Business, Great East Road Campus from 9am-1pm with lunch, please email helen@medicalaidfilms.org to confirm attendance.

Please see the attached invitation [*] for more information and please share widely with any colleagues or organisations you think would be interested in the event.

Many thanks

Helen
